Spring 2025 Honors: Over 3,130 Jax State Students Recognized for Academic Achievement

Jacksonville State University proudly recognizes the exceptional academic achievements of more than 3,130 undergraduate students who were named to the Honors List for Fall 2024. 

• President's List: Approximately 1,074 students earned a perfect 4.0 GPA while completing at least 12 credit hours during the semester. 

• Dean's List: Approximately 1,305 students achieved a GPA of 3.5-3.99 while completing at least 12 credit hours. 

The university also celebrated the academic excellence of its dual enrollment students. Over 750 high school students who earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher while completing college courses were recognized as Emerging Scholars.

Special Note: Students who believe they were mistakenly omitted from the Honors List are encouraged to review the “hours earned” for the semester on their transcripts. Please note that courses repeated or taken Pass/Fail do not count toward the 12-credit-hour requirement for the President’s or Dean’s List. For further assistance, email jsunews@jsu.edu.
