Jacksonville State has named more than 2,200 undergraduates to its Honors List for their outstanding academic performance in Spring 2023.

Approximately 1,000 students made the President's List, earning a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester while completing at least 12 credits. Meanwhile, more than 1,100 students made the Dean's List, earning a GPA of 3.5-3.99 while completing at least 12 credits for the semester.

For the second time, the university also honored the academic achievements of its dual enrollment students. High school students who earned a 3.5 GPA or higher while completing dual enrollment courses at the university were recognized as Emerging Scholars.

The university kicked off its summer semester on May 16. The next Honors List will be awarded at the end of the Fall 2023 semester, which begins Aug. 17. Congratulations to all the honorees!

Special Note: Student who believe they were mistakenly left off the Honors List should check the “hours earned” for the semester on their transcripts. Courses that were repeated or taken Pass/Fail do not count towards the 12 credit hour requirement for President’s and Dean’s List. For additional questions, please email jsunews@jsu.edu.
