JSU Child Study Center Accepting Students for 2021-2022

The Cynthia H. Harper Child Study Center in JSU's School of Education is accepting applications for admission for the 2021-2022 academic year. 

Located in ​East Mason Hall, the half-day program is open to all potty-trained children ages 3-4, regardless of JSU affiliation. It operates in the Fall, Spring and Summer I semesters, Monday-Friday, from 7:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. when classes are in session. 

The center's mission is to provide ​Education and Family and Consumer Sciences students opportunities to work with children in the pre-school setting while providing local children an environment that promotes optimum development.

The cost of attendance is $500 each Fall and Spring and $180 for the Summer I term ​in May​/June. The deadline to apply for the upcoming year is July 1. Applications are available online. For assistance, call 256-782-5054.
