COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

JSU has acquired several hundred doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to enable the university to vaccinate its most vulnerable. Appointments are available on Monday, March 29, and Thursday, April 1, at Kennamer Hall, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., to active employees and currently enrolled students in the following priority groups:
  • 55 years of age or older
  • Essential workers - those working in healthcare, law enforcement, teaching (instructors and staff), transportation, food service, finance, information technology, media, communications, legal, and public safety
  • Individuals with serious underlying health conditions - cancer, chronic kidney disease, COPD, heart conditions (heart failure, coronary artery disease or cardiomyopathies), immunocompromised state, solid organ transplant, obesity (BMI greater than 30), pregnant, Sickle Cell disease, Type 1 and 2 diabetes
Students, faculty and staff will receive an email on March 26 providing a registration link through JSU’s EventBrite account. Please do not register for a vaccine unless you are among the priority groups listed above.

For those who secure a vaccine appointment, please arrive promptly at your scheduled time and not before. When you arrive at Kennamer Hall, you will be permitted to enter on either side of the building and must present your picture ID and a completed Consent Form and Vaccine Data Sheet
