Alabama & Friends Benefit Concert Information

The day is almost here! The much-anticipated Alabama & Friends Benefit Concert will take place on campus on Wednesday, Sept. 26. If you plan to attend the event, please carefully read through the following information to ensure you have the best concert experience.
- Tickets are still available and can be purchased in person at the Main Ticket Plaza Box Office at JSU Stadium or online. The Box Office will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Wednesday.
- All WILL CALL tickets are available for pickup in person at the Main Ticket Plaza Box Office at JSU Stadium. Access to the Main Ticket Plaza is available off Mountain Street onto Cole Drive.
- Gates will open at 4 p.m., and the concert is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
- ALL gates around JSU Stadium will be open at 4 p.m. Gates A, B and C are for the general public.
- Everyone must have a ticket to enter the concert, regardless of age.
- Please note the concert is a rain or shine event. There is a chance of rain for the event, so plan accordingly, and as a reminder umbrellas are NOT allowed inside the stadium. In the event of lightning, the concert will be delayed for the safety of everyone involved. After the all clear is given, the concert will resume. Every effort will be made for the entire concert to take place on Wednesday evening.
- For the concert, all parking on campus is FREE except in reserved VIP areas. Please do not park on curbs or in the grass or your vehicle could be subject to towing. Handicap parking is first-come, first-served. Please plan accordingly.
- For the convenience of our guests, there will be a FREE shuttle service from Pete Mathews Coliseum and from Houston Cole Library. These lots offer free parking and the shuttle service will being at 3 p.m., and continue until one hour after the show.
- JSU’s Clear Bag Policy will apply during this event.
- Please note that you will not be permitted to bring in any outside food or drink. Concessions will be open. The WOW truck will be operating and taking student Flex dollars.
- For the concert, there will be cash bars located throughout the concourse. Guests 21 or older will have the opportunity to purchase adult beverages at the kiosks throughout the concourse.
- Jacksonville State University is a weapons free campus. No firearms or other dangerous weapons will be allowed inside JSU Stadium. In addition, umbrellas, backpacks, recording devices, artificial noisemakers, food/beverage containers, bottles, weapons, and alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed inside JSU Stadium. Event staff and security personnel will conduct bag searches at each gate prior to entry.
