Cheaha Challenge Deemed a Record-Breaking Success

The numbers are in! The 26th annual Cheaha Challenge Gran Fondo Century & ULTRA, which was hosted on campus in May, had a record-breaking 879 participants from 30 states and 13 countries. The event gave a boost of almost $550,000 to the local economy. 

Cycling enthusiasts can look forward to coming back next year, as ride director Brooke Nelson said the UCI Gran Fondo Worlds qualifier will return to JSU and the City of Jacksonville in 2019.
