First Students Enroll in JSU's Second Doctoral Program
08/30/2017
The first class of students have enrolled in JSU's new Doctor of Nursing Practice program in the Department of Nursing.
This highly qualified group of students consists of nurse educators, practitioners, administrators and clinicians seeking to enhance their roles as leaders in the nursing discipline and in healthcare.
This marks a new era in nursing at JSU as the department, now in its 50th year, transforms into a regional leader in healthcare education. It's the second doctoral program for the university, which established a Doctor of Science in Emergency Management in 2010 and graduated its first doctoral candidate in April 2016.
