Incoming Transfer Students Invited to Orientation

JSU’s new Transfer Pathways program invites incoming transfer students to a special orientation designed just for them on July 12, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Houston Cole Library, Rooms 1103 A-B. 

The day will begin with a general information session hosted by Brock Shelton, transfer admissions advisor, with a panel of representatives from each of the academic schools, Academic Support Services, Housing, Student Accounts, Registrar’s Office, Veterans Services, University Police, Career Services, Counseling Services and Disability Support Services, Scholarships, Student Health Services and Dining Services. 

Students will have the opportunity to be advised and register for classes in the computer lab at the library. They will also be able to get their student ID made, take a campus tour, and eat lunch in Jack Hopper Dining Hall.
