Toss Your Hat in the First-ever Graduation Cap Contest!

Hey, graduating Gamecocks! Ready to toss the tassel and celebrate your achievements at commencement on April 29? If you decorate your graduation regalia early, you could win fun prizes in the first-ever JSU Graduation Cap contest, organized by the JSU Alumni Association, Registrar's Office, and the Office of Public Relations. 

Members of the Class of 2016 who have filed for graduation in April are welcome to enter the contest. You can show your Gamecock pride, creativity and style in one of three categories:

• Most Gamecock Pride
• Best Use of an Inspirational Quote
• Best Representation of your JSU College

To enter the contest:

1. Instagram a picture of your graduation cap using #jaxcap16
2. Tag @jacksonvillestateuniversity
3. Follow JSU @jacksonvillestateuniversity on Instagram

Submissions must be made by April 27 at 2:00 p.m.

A panel of judges will determine and announce the winning caps on Instagram on April 28. Slides of the winning grad caps will be displayed on the big screen in Pete Mathews Coliseum prior to Commencement. In addition to having their handiwork displayed at Commencement, winners also receive a prize package.
