Award-winning Artist Nannan Shen to Perform on March 11

On March 11, the David L Walters Department of Music will present Nannan Shen, a noted erhu player from Linhai China. An instructor at the School of Arts of Taizhou University, Shen was admitted into the School of Music of Jiangzi Normal University in 1999 with the highest score. He continued his musical education at Fujian Normal University, beginning his master’s degree in 2010. Shen has won multiple Chinese national folk music performing competitions.  The concert  is a part of the 2015 Kaleidoscope event series and will take place in the Mason Hall Performance Center at 7:30 p.m. For more information, please contact Thomas McCutchen at tmccutchen@jsu.edu.
