Pi Kappa Phi to Host Family Fun 5K Run-Walk to Support Disabled

To raise money and awareness for people with disabilities, Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at JSU will host a Family Fun 5K Run/Walk on Saturday morning, March  15, at Jacksonville State University. The event coincides with the annual War of the Roses event, which takes place from March 15-21. The race will kick off at Pete Mathews Coliseum.  Registration booths will be set up at 8:00 a.m.

“We’re very excited to be hosting our first ever 5k fun run to raise money for our philanthropy, Push America,” says Ryan Campbell, a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.  

The cost to participate in the race is $20.00 for early registration and $25.00 the day of. Tickets are available by calling 770-377-6450, or can be purchased onsite the day of the race. Push America is the national philanthropy of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Push America raises funds and awareness for people with disabilities and offers several nationwide programs.
