American Democracy Project to Sponsor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Program on Jan. 21

In conjunction with the MLK Day of Service, the American Democracy Project invites David Baker, president of the Anniston-Calhoun County Branch of the NAACP to present a talk entitled, "A Good Time to Stand Up." The talk will address the importance of Dr. Martin Luther King's, Jr. activism, and how his vision and efforts are relevant to contemporary issues of social justice and change.

The event will be on Tuesday, January 21 at 6 p.m. in Merrill Hall Room 101. The public is invited.
