University Mourns Loss of CJ Student Tyler Bojo

UPDATED- Monday, October 28-- There will be a memorial service for Tyler Bojo at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29. The service will take place in Paul Carpenter Village, in front of the Delta Chi house.
Friday, October 25-- Today, Jacksonville State University is mourning the loss of Tyler Bojo, a full-time student who passed away on Thursday, October 24, at his home in Cave Spring, Ga.
Bojo was a criminal justice major with a concentration in law enforcement. He was also a member of the Delta Chi fraternity.
Dr. Rebecca Turner, JSU’s provost and vice president of academic and student affairs, said the university is stunned and saddened by the loss.
“When we lose one of our students, that loss is felt campus wide. On behalf of Tyler’s university family, we express our deepest sympathy to Tyler’s family and friends, here at JSU and in his hometown,” she said.
Students struggling with the loss of their classmate and friend are encouraged to reach out to JSU’s Counseling Services for help. JSU Counseling Services is located in 140 Daugette Hall, phone 256-782-5475.
