JSU Awards 634 Degrees in Fall 2012 Commencement

Six hundred thirty-four candidates for graduation crossed the stage to receive their degrees during Jacksonville State University’s Fall 2012 Commencement exercises at Pete Mathews Coliseum on December 14, 2012.
Leading the class were top graduates Lance William Hicks of Hokes Bluff, Ala., who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English; Hannah Lauren Cooper of Byram, Miss., who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts; Viachaslau Katliarou of Belarus, who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology; Yuye Cao of China, who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting; Catherine Robbiann Davis of Cleveland, Ala., who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Social Work; Sabrina Amber Whitmire of Gadsden, Ala., who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology; and Zebulon Harris Vaughn of Wadley, Ala., who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Education
The faculty led the processional and University President Dr. William A. Meehan presented the degrees.
