WLJS Friday Night Talk Show to Return for Third Season

05/11/2012

WLJS' Friday night talk show, "Late Nite With Ed Moore III," will return for a third season beginning September 7, 2012.

During season two, “Late Nite With Ed Moore III” brought in record breaking numbers for the show’s listenership, covering some of the biggest stories of the year, which included the death of Whitney Houston, hazed Florida A&M University student Robert Champion and the shooting of 17 year-old Florida teenager Trayvon Martin. Throughout its time, the show has also covered topics such as sexual assault, domestic violence, teen suicide and discrimination within the Muslim community.

In April, "Late Nite With Ed Moore III" was awarded the WLJS "People's Choice Award" for its excellence in achieving popular listenership, professionalism and broadened news coverage. "The show impacted so many people last season,” says Moore. “We hope to bring that same level of impact in September. We are gathering up season three guests as we speak.”
"Late Nite With Ed Moore III" first premiered in September of 2011 with a special on HIV/AIDS and its effect on the human population.
