The holiday season is in full swing on the Friendliest Campus in the South. Here are a few remaining events to enjoy at JSU before the university closes for winter break: 

Sing-A-Long with Music Faculty 

Enjoy singing along to your favorite holiday tunes at the Music Faculty Holiday Gala on Thursday, December 7, at 7 p.m. in Mason Hall Performance Center. Tickets are $10; free to children younger than age 12. 

Jingle and Mingle

Head out to the JSU Canyon Center in Fort Payne on the evening of Thursday, December 7, for an exclusive shopping event at The Shop at Little River, 5-7 p.m. Enjoy complimentary gift wrapping, discounts throughout the store, holiday treats and sounds of the season while you shop. The boutique offers an array of unique and exclusive gifts. Attire is casual festive.

Planetarium Presents "Star of Bethlehem"

Take a trip back in time to Bethlehem at the birth of Christ with the JSU Planetarium. You’ll get the chance to look at the night sky and consider astronomical events that might have been the Star of Bethlehem, which guided the wise men on their miraculous journey in search of the Christ child. There are two opportunties to catch the show on Saturday, December 9 - 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students and children. Faculty/Staff Appreciation Sale

The Campus Bookstore will show its appreciation to the faculty and staff of JSU by hosting its annual holiday shopping sale on Dec. 11-15. Discounts include: 75% off clearance gifts, 60% off clearance clothing, 50% off bargain books, 35% off regular priced clothing and gifts, 10% off diploma frames. Come cross off the items on your wish list!
