Campus to Remain Open Friday

12/08/2017

The National Weather Service has placed Calhoun County under a winter storm warning through noon on Saturday, Dec. 9. While up to 3 inches of snow is predicted for our area, temperatures are not expected to drop below freezing during the daytime hours on Friday, Dec. 8. The university plans to hold final exams on Friday as scheduled but will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day and will send out an alert should conditions worsen.

Please use caution on bridges and overpasses when commuting to campus. Roads are not expected to ice until after sundown but this could change as temperatures drop throughout the day. Please monitor local weather and use your best judgment about your personal safety.  Special accommodations will be made on a case-by-case basis by faculty for students unable to make it to campus to take their final exams.
