Student art will be in the spotlight at the 43rd annual Juried Student Show opening Feb. 11 at the newly renovated Hammond Hall Art Gallery. Forty-six students have submitted up to three pieces each and juror Mary Dunn has narrowed the collection down to the best works. Two cash prizes will be awarded recognizing Best in Show and Honorable Mention.

Also opening on Feb. 11, next-door at the Roundhouse Gallery, is ”Rules, Tools & Play," a collection by new graphic design professor Christian Dunn.

The opening reception for both shows will be held Feb. 11, 5-7 p.m. Can't make it to the opening? Both exhibits will be on display through Feb. 25 during business hours. Admission is free. For more information, contact the Department of Art at 256-782-5626.
