It's GO Time! Gamecock Orientation Gets Underway

It's GO time!
The Office of Student Life kicked off Gamecock Orientation for first time freshman on Tuesday, June 10. Throughout much of the summer during Tuesday and Thursday sessions, students and their parents and guests will be introduced to our campus, student services and offices, as well as their intended major's department. Students will learn how to use MyJSU, Blackboard and GEM, and will also receive their summer reading program book, The Fault in our Stars. They will also have their student ID made at the end of the day.
We ask that our campus community help us in welcoming our newest Gamecocks! If you receive any questions regarding orientation, please let us know by contacting nmillirons@jsu.edu or by calling x-5491. Transfer students with 24 or more credit hours are not required to attend GO! Please direct these students to the department of their intended major.
