Level III IRC Professional Development: ‘Brown-Bag Lunch’ Panel Discussion to be Held on October 30

10/17/2013

JSU faculty and staff who are interested in developing proposals and working collaboratively in teams on proposals are invited to join the JSU Institute for Research and collaboration (IRC) for the monthly ‘Brown-Bag Lunch’ Panel Discussion Proposal Development session. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Room 202 Martin Hall (the collaborative classroom).

A panel of JSU faculty will lead participants in a discussion of open request for proposals (RFP’s) for future funding opportunities. Attendees will have a chance to explore potential interdisciplinary collaboration on externally funded grant opportunities at the federal, state, regional and/or local level. Participants will hear about the panelists’ current research projects and will have the chance to discuss their research interests with the group. This informal setting will facilitate the open discussion of ideas and possibilities for future collaborative, interdisciplinary research projects.

Drinks and dessert will be provided. Admission is free. For more information or to reserve a seat, please email irc@jsu.edu or call extension 8159.
