JSU Jazz to Cast Musical Spell on Magic City on Nov. 6

There will be some smooth sounds rising in the Magic City on Wednesday, November 6 as Ona’s Music Room welcomes Jacksonville State University to their stage for JSU Jazz Night.

Located in the popular Pepper Place business district, Ona’s Music Room near the corner of 28th Street South and 2nd Avenue South was named one of USA Today’s “Top 10 Jazz Clubs in the Nation” and is a favorite for celebrities and locals. It was established in 1997 by Ona Watson.

JSU’s Jazz Ensembles I, II and III will perform at Ona’s on Wednesday beginning at 8 p.m., along with selected guests from the Birmingham area and JSU faculty. The music is expected to last until 10:30 p.m.

There is a $5 cover charge.
