JSU to Welcome Former Representatives for Constitution Day Celebration

Jacksonville State University will welcome former Rep. Earl Hutto (D) from Florida and former Rep. Sue Kelly (R) from New York for its Congress to Campus Program, Sept 16-17. This event is being sponsored by the JSU American Democracy Project Team and Congress to Campus.

The representatives will meet with students from various classes and student organizations as part of their visit to JSU.

There will be a press conference with the representatives scheduled from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 in the Gold Room of Bibb Graves Hall.

Also, Q & A session with the Representatives is scheduled with the SGA and Freshman Forum from 6:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. Monday evening in the TMB Auditorium. 

The visit will culminate with the Constitution Day Celebration on Tuesday, Sept 17 beginning at 9:15 on the 11th Floor of the Houston Cole Library. The Constitution Day event on Tuesday is free and open to the public.
