JSU Graduate, Criminologist Dr. Edward Blackwelder to Appear on Investigation Discovery's 'Redrum'

JSU graduate and criminologist Dr. Edward Blackwelder will appear on tonight's episode of "Redrum," the crime show that traces murder cases from the body to the truth, on the Investigation Discovery channel.  

In the episode Dr. Blackwelder was interviewed about the 1997 Stocks family murders that occurred in Arkansas. Dr. Blackwelder, who is renowned for his work in studying crime and serial killers, received his bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in sociology from JSU in 1975, as well as a master's degree in law enforcement in 1976. 

The show will air at 9:30 p.m. tonight, 12:30 a.m. tomorrow, and 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2. (All listed times are CST)

Local cable television system CableOne does not carry Investigation Discovery in its channel lineup; however, Redrum can be viewed on Direct TV Channel 285, AT&T U-Verse Channel 260 and Dish Network Channel 192.
