The progression, image and role of men in the United States will be the subject of the Friday, September 21 episode of local WLJS radio talk show 'Late Night with Ed Moore III.'

"As a man, this is something quite special for me," says the Birmingham area native broadcaster. "I think in the 21st century, it's time to sit down and discuss our ideas on what defines a man in this society, tug on the best of those ideas and place them out front."

According to Moore, the show will examine the difficulties of being a man as well as the advantages, men and their children, a man's role in the workforce, the ever-changing societal and cultural roles of men, a look back at male appearance throughout history and the comprehensions behind male interaction with women.

"We are going to have a panel of men who will sit down and discuss these issues. By the end of the program, we hope to come to a conclusion that can define what a 'man' is in the 21st century."

"The Male Race: Their Struggles, Strides And Desires To Improve" will air Friday, September 21 at 11 P.M. CDT. Northeast Alabama listeners may tune into 91.9 FM. The show will also be available for listening worldwide via the web at www.latenitewithedmooreiii.weebly.com.
