What sets us apart is our distinguished faculty, excellent reputation and full complement of required courses and electives. We are capable of producing graduates at the bachelors, masters and doctoral level, which makes us very unique.
Since our programs utilize an on-line platform, our classrooms are virtual, meaning a student may complete his/her coursework at the time and place of their choosing so long as they meet deadlines for their assignments and exams.
Be Ready for Where You're Going.
Coalition for Emergency Managers of Eastern Alabama
The membership of this forum brings together EM professionals from 10 local county governments, State EMA, State Public Health and federal partners (DHS, FEMA and DoD).
Center for Domestic Preparedness (DHS/FEMA)
We have two formal Memorandums of Agreement with the Center for Domestic Preparedness (DHS/FEMA) that enables our doctoral students to conduct research within the CDP and the ability to award JSU credit for free for students taking CDP courses.
"I appreciate the expertise and effort JSU brings to the virtual classroom. I can honestly say I finished each class a better emergency manager than I was beforehand."
- Norman A. Strum, Director - Dupage County EMA, 2012
