RN to BSN STEP Program in Nursing
Jacksonville State University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree through the STEP -Strategic Teaching for Enhanced Professional Preparation - (RN-BSN) Program, which is also accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Jacksonville State University's Lurleen B. Wallace College of Nursing and Health Sciences supports the concept of career mobility for individuals holding an associate degree or diploma in nursing. The faculty have developed a quality, flexible, cost-effective, and convenient means for registered nurses to obtain the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. STEP is designed to enable students to achieve their educational goals while fulfilling their personal and occupational responsibilities.
Courses in the professional component of our BSN program are delivered through the Internet. After completion of general studies requirements, nursing courses may be completed in one calendar year online.
Hours to Complete: 32 hours.
