The Office of Distance Education is pleased to announce the availability of four exciting new tools available in Blackboard. The Campus Pack course tools - Wikis, Blogs, Journals, and Podcasts - are designed to enhance collaboration between students and instructors, introducing Web 2.0 and social media tools into the Blackboard course environment. All tools are integrated with the Blackboard Grade Center, making it easy to review assignments and provide feedback.
Campus Pack Personal Learning Spaces, also known as ePortfolios, provide faculty, staff, and students a personal space and network to create, categorize, assess, and present academic and co-curricular activities with instructors, peers, advisors, or anyone in the world.
Personal Learning Spaces are highly customizable for a variety of purposes and users. Making use of content modules known as portlets, Campus Pack social media tools such as wikis, blogs, journals, and podcasts, and predefined and custom templates.
