The following guides have been created to assist students in successfully using Blackboard. The guides are written specifically for the current version of Blackboard at JSU and will be revised as updates become available.

- Submitting Assignments in My Blackboard Course – topics in this student guide include submitting general assignments, submitting SafeAssign assignments, and interpreting the SafeAssign Originality Report.
- Communication and Student Tools in My Blackboard Course – topics in this student guide include detailed information about using the chat tool, virtual classroom tool, discussion board, messages, e-mail, and student tools (i.e., calendar, glossary, homepage, my grades, personal information, and tasks).
- Completing Exams in My Blackboard Course – topics in this student guide include an explanation of instructor defined exam options and instructions for completing an exam.
