Charles (Chuck) B. Freeman, II, CPA, CMA

Chuck completed his Bachelors of Science Degree with a major in Accounting from Jacksonville State University in December 2003.  He then pursued a Masters of Accountancy at Auburn University, working at Thomas P. Crowley, CPA, PC as a Tax Staff member while still in school.  He completed his Masters of Accountancy in May, 2005 and took a position with Deloitte Tax LLP in Birmingham, Alabama as a Tax Senior.  In May 2007 he took a position as a Tax Accountant at Lischkoff & Pitts, PC where he stayed through the end of 2007.  In January 2008 he went back to Deloitte Tax LLP as a Tax Senior Manager.  He started his current position as a Tax Senior Manager at RSM US LLP in October 2013.  Chuck is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants and the Young Business Leaders.  He is also a member of the Briarwood Soccer Club and the Briarwood Presbyterian Church.  His practice focuses on large corporations across various industries including accounting for income taxes under ASC 740, corporate tax consulting (tax accounting methods), and corporate tax compliance.
