FEMA Assistance Available for Storm Victims

05/01/2018

Governor Kay Ivey announced April 27 that President Trump had approved a major disaster declaration in response to the March 19 tornado.

Individual assistance is available through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for homeowners and renters in Calhoun, Cullman and Etowah Counties. Residents may now apply for federal disaster assistance for uninsured and underinsured damage and losses resulting from the March 19 storms. If you were affected by the March 19 tornado, you can register with FEMA online or by calling 1-800-621-3362.

Faculty and staff who need to ask questions or get help filling out the paperwork are invited to meet with FEMA representatives on May 2, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Theron Montgomery Building auditorium.
