Jacksonville State University’s online graduate criminal justice program was recently named among the Best Online Graduate Criminal Justice programs by the U.S. News and World Report. This prestigious recognition is awarded annually to colleges and universities across the nation with online programs.

The JSU criminal justice department offers courses leading to the Master of Science in criminal justice. The department also offers an area of concentration in criminal justice within the Master of Public Administration degree program. Students may choose from a thesis or a non-thesis route for the degree.

Dr. Joe Walsh, associate vice president for educational technology and support, stated, “One of the many reasons JSU’s online criminal justice program has developed such a respected reputation is that the classes have been specifically designed to promote active, engaged, and real-world learning in an online environment. Combine that with talented instructors who are highly recognized experts in their fields and it’s easy to see why so many students choose an online degree in criminal justice from JSU.”

In addition to the master’s degree in criminal justice, JSU now offers over 30 accredited online undergraduate and graduate degree programs from which to choose. For more information about any of these programs, please visit www.jsu.edu/online
