Celebrate Halloween on the JSU Campus

Dust off your Halloween costume and pick your pumpkin! The season of frightful fun is here!

Check out these upcoming Halloween activities at JSU:



October 30

Halloween in the Caf
Jack Hopper Dining Hall

The Jack Hopper Dining Hall will host a pumpkin carving contest from October 25-30. Sodexo will provide you with a pumpkin beginning on October 25 and your carved masterpiece is due by noon on October 30. The winner will be announced later that night and will receive $50 in flex money. 

Also on October 30, there will be a specialty menu for dinner and a Halloween costume competition from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.. The winner of the costume competition will receive $50 in flex money.

There will also be a horror movie showing in the Jack Hopper Dining Hall on October 30.


Trunk or Treat
JSU Quad, 6-8 p.m.

 Campus organizations are invited to set up a themed table on the Quad and provide candy for local children during JSU's first SGA Trunk or Treat! 

Dress up (be wholesome) and decorate your table according to your theme. This can count as volunteer hours.

Pick a fun activity and sign up for it by Oct. 15 (bob for apples, face painting, etc.)

TUBAWEEN (Part of the Octubafest 2012 Concert Series)

Mason Hall Performance Center, 7:30 p.m.

 Join the JSU Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble & JSU Encore! Show Choir for TUBAWEEN! This free concert, sponsored by the David L. Walters Department of Music, is directed by Chris Hosmer (Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble) and Renee Baptiste (JSU Encore! Show Choir).
