Subject: New Group Life Insurance Carrier

 

Effective August 1, 2007, our new group life insurance carrier is Fort Dearborn Life (A+ Rated AM Best and Standard and Poors).

Our new group life carrier is offering an open enrollment period for Jacksonville State University employees.

This open enrollment allows those not currently participating the opportunity to enroll with no health questions.

Many of you have purchased supplemental life insurance through payroll deduction.  This will be an opportunity for you to purchase coverage or increase your existing coverage without answering health questions or taking an exam.

Attached is a Supplemental Life Worksheet for you to review.
