Additional 13 Local Schools
Selected to Participate in
JSU's 2008 AMSTI Summer Institute

Jacksonville State University�s Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI) announces 13 schools have been selected to participate in the AMSTI Summer Institute July 7-18, 2008.

Congratulations to the following 2008 AMSTI Schools:

Anniston Middle - Anniston City; Alexandria Elementary, Ohatchee High, Weaver High, Wellborn Elementary - Calhoun County; Cedar Bluff - Cherokee County; The Highland School, Glencoe Middle - Etowah County; George W. Floyd Elementary, Walnut Park Elementary - Gadsden City; C.E. Hanna Elementary, Oxford Middle - Oxford City; and Wedowee Middle - Randolph County.

These 13 schools join the 31 schools that were accepted and participated in year one training in 2007 and will return for a second year of training this summer.
