Additional 13 Local Schools
Selected to Participate in
JSU's 2008 AMSTI Summer Institute

Jacksonville State University’s Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI) announces 13 schools have been selected to participate in the AMSTI Summer Institute July 7-18, 2008.

Congratulations to the following 2008 AMSTI Schools:

Anniston Middle - Anniston City; Alexandria Elementary, Ohatchee High, Weaver High, Wellborn Elementary - Calhoun County; Cedar Bluff - Cherokee County; The Highland School, Glencoe Middle - Etowah County; George W. Floyd Elementary, Walnut Park Elementary - Gadsden City; C.E. Hanna Elementary, Oxford Middle - Oxford City; and Wedowee Middle - Randolph County.

These 13 schools join the 31 schools that were accepted and participated in year one training in 2007 and will return for a second year of training this summer.
