SGA Seeks Applicants for
Director of Publicity, Scholarships,
Golden Apple Awards

The JSU Student Government Association is seeking applicants for the following positions and awards:

Director of Publicity
Qualifications: 2.5 GPA with 12 JSU hours
The application is due on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 in the Student Life Office by 4:30 pm

Golden Apple Award
This award is given to the outstanding professor, assistant professor, associate professor, or instructor who has gone beyond the call of his/her duty in effort to help the student body. This awards also recognizes the pride and professionalism in which the recipient displays for this institution. In an effort to reward the outstanding professor or assistant professor, the Student Government Association of Jacksonville State University would like to honor the recipient for his/her effectiveness in touching the lives of others.

The nomination form is due on Thursday, March 12, 2009 in the Student Life Office by 4:30pm

SGA Scholarship
Qualifications: 2.5 cumulative GPA, leadership qualities. They also must follow all guidelines within Chapter 900. The scholarship application is available here.
