UPD Announces New Parking Appeal Procedures

4 October 2004 — The University Police Department now accepts parking citation appeals online at The parking appeal form can be located at   Once the parking appeal form is successfully completed, it will be submitted to the parking service division at UPD.  Once the appeal is processed, an e-mail confirmation will be generated that will contain the status of the appeal.  If the appeal is accepted the confirmation e-mail will also reflect the court date, time, and location of the next appeals court.

It is the responsibility of the faculty, staff, or student appealing the parking citation to bring the original ticket to appeals court on the assigned date and time.  If the original parking citation is not available the e-mail printout from your JSU GEM account will be sufficient.  “We will continue to accept walk-in appeals at the University Police Department until the end of this semester”, said Corporal Neil Fetner.
