16th Annual Wildflower Saturday
at DeSoto State Park

DeSoto State Park is hosting its 16th Annual Wildflower Saturday May 3, 20008. Every year DeSoto State Park teams with JSU Field School to bring you a series of  interpretive programs, hikes, and workshops intended to educate the public about all things nature. Come join in the excitement of a great day of hiking and learning about many different species of plants.

Springtime at DeSoto State Park is truly beautiful, with Rhododendron and Mountain Laurel blooming around every corner. With its abundance of rhododendron and mountain laurel, there are few places lovelier than Lookout Mountain's DeSoto State Park in May.

Make it a weekend to remember…stay at lovely DeSoto Lodge and join in a wildflower breakfast, lunch and dinner! Learn more at
