Sign Up Now for Blackboard Level III Workshop

Sign up now for Blackboard: Communication & Student Management Tools Workshop on Thursday, March 9!

The Office of Distance Education is offering our Blackboard Level III - Communication & Student Management Tools workshop for faculty, staff, and administrators at JSU. This workshop is intended to provide you with additional skills in the Blackboard e-learning software for your online, supplemental, or workshop course, and is intended for individuals who have already completed the Introductory or its equivalent.

Topics for this workshop include:
  • Asynchronous communication (Email, Discussion Board)

  • Discussion Board (Sorting, Filtering, Archiving, and Grading)

  • Synchronous communication tools (Virtual Classroom & Chat)

  • Groups (includes managing multiple course sections)
There is no fee for this workshop, and it is open to faculty, staff, and administrators who may be interested in using the Blackboard platform or who need a refresher with any of the topics described above.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, March 9th, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Further information about this workshop will be provided upon registration.
