First United Methodist

A pre-1900s vintage view of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, now the First United Methodist Church. The church had no electrical power (or paved streets) in photo at top. Note power pole in second photo, which was made possibly in the 1930s. The old photos were copied from the archives of Mr. Buddy Tredaway. Also on this page are photos of the same church as found on May 7, 2005. For more THEN & NOW scenes, go to Al Harris' photo blogger.
