Kennamer Hall Dedication

President Bill Meehan, far left, and Mr. Jim Bennett, second from left, chairman of the board of trustees, led open-house ceremonies at Jacksonville State University's new Bob and Lou Kennamer Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Kennamer look on as Dr. Meehan reads the resolution dedicating the building. The new athletics building was named in honor of the couple who have long supported JSU with immense generosity. Kennamer Hall houses the offices of the athletics program administration, which includes the athletics director, ticket office, and sports information. Also included are coaches' offices for the teams of baseball, volleyball, golf, and softball, as well as the softball locker room, the Stewart Center for Strength and Conditioning, and a multi-purpose gymnasium. The dedication ceremony was held April 18, 2005.
