Holocaust Remembrance Service

On April 13, Jacksonville State University's Student Government Association and the Holocaust Remembrance Committee presented the annual Holocaust Remembrance Service in the Stone Center. Keynote speaker for the evening was Mrs. Ruth Siegler of Birmingham. Mrs. Siegler is a survivor of Auschwitz/Birkenau. Below are some images captured by University Photographer Steve Latham and JSU Public Relations Specialist Angie Finley.

The Kaddish is traditionally recited by mourners at public services after the death of close relatives. It was offered at Monday's service in remembrance of the millions who were systematically murdered during World War II.
