Funeral Services Announced for Student

Mr. Donnie Lynn Wells, Jr., age 26, of Fort Payne passed away April 6, 2009. He was a student at Jacksonville State University, former program director for campus radio station WLJS FM and host of 92-J Rocks, as well as a disc jockey with radio station 105.9 FM.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 10 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Payne, with burial following in Walkers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the family.

He is survived by his loving mate Crystal Stilwell of Jacksonville, his father Donnie Wells, Sr. of Fort Payne, his mother JoAnna Shrader of Ashville, sister Stacey Wells of Acworth, Ga., grandparents Myra Bowlin, Ronnie and Faye Tolleson, Charles and Diane Turcan, and Brian Shrader and his beloved family of Christy and Rob Durbrow, Connor, Bailey, and Kayla. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
