The JSU Chamber Singers and A Capella Choir, led by Dr.
Patricia Corbin, bring the season's cheer to guests by staging a "Renaissance England" dinner theater that features an evening of music
and drama. On Friday, November 30th and
Saturday, December 1st, the JSU Choral Activities will present their Annual
Renaissance Madrigal Dinner in the Gamecock Center on the JSU campus at 7:00
p.m. nightly. Join us for an evening of music and high (and low) drama,
featuring the JSU Chamber Singers and A Cappella Choir!
will begin with Wassail followed by a multi-course feast. This year’s Dinner is
entitled “The King’s Birthday.” The story is a farcical tale written by JSU
students Jarrod Lee, Matthew Headley, Eleanor Mellen, Meg Griffin, Gatlin
Alldredge, Judy Shealy and JSU Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Patricia
Corbin. This event is great family entertainment, suitable for children and
