Sodexho's Cans Across America
Food Drive A Success

On November 7th, Sodexho hosted its second annual national food drive in attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the most amount of food collected in a 24-hour time period.  JSU collected 908 lbs. of food, breaking last year's school record of 860 lbs.

It has not yet been determined if enough cans were collected in this nationwide effort to set a Guinness World Record—we will find this out within the next week.  Regardless, many hungry people will have food due to the drive.  The cans were donated to the Jacksonville Christian Outreach Center.  Sodexho would like to thank all of the students and faculty that participated in the drive for their donations.

Delta Zeta came in first place, donating 241 lbs.; the Ultimate Frisbee Club came in 2nd place with 201lbs; and the College of Commerce and Business Administration came in 3rd place with 197 lbs.  Delta Zeta will receive a pizza party for taking 1st place.
