National Distance Learning Week
November 12-16
Please join Jacksonville State University’s Office of Distance Education as we celebrate National Distance Learning Week November 12-16, 2007. This event is sponsored by the United States Distance Learning Association that seeks to promote and celebrate the growth and accomplishments in distance learning programs all over the United States.

In the Fall 2007 term, 2,899 JSU students were enrolled in Distance Education courses. That’s 514 more students than were taking DE courses in the Fall 2006 term, which is a 22% increase!

During this week, JSU’s Office of Distance Education will be offering presentations, demonstrations and training sessions to inform both faculty and students alike of the many educational technology tools available here at JSU.
