Stars Atop Library to be Illuminated
on Sunday in Honor of Veterans Day

Jacksonville State University will illuminate stars atop Houston Cole Library Sunday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day. The university is proud to continue the tradition of families of servicemen displaying a Service Flag which had a star for each family member in the military. JSU has many current and former students (our family) who have served our nation as members of the armed services. The stars atop the Library, one for each of the four directions on the compass, are in honor and tribute of all men and women who have served or are currently serving in the military service.

After Sunday, the stars will be turned off until the official campus lighting ceremony, "JSU in Lights," on Monday, November 26, at 5 p.m.
