Upcoming Octubafest 2007 Events

Join the celebration of our instruments and hear music in a whole new way. Octubafest 2007 is here and it’s not just about oom-pah-pah any more. 

Students of the tuba and euphonium studio will play all sorts of music in solo, duet, quartet and other ensemble configurations.  It’s music, fun and food on Sunday, Octuba 21 at 3:00 p.m. in the Performance Center at Mason Hall.  Check our event schedule at http://music.jsu.edu/TubaStudio/events.html. 

 

On Tuesday, Octuba 23 there will be a Junior Recital given by Stan Renda on tuba at 7:30 p.m. in the Performance Center at Mason Hall.

 

The Brass Quintet Concert originally scheduled for Wednesday, Octuba 24, featuring tuba and euphonium students teamed up with performers in brass has been cancelled.
