Announces New Professional Residence Life Coordinator Position Available
The Department of University Housing and Residence Life is seeking interested individuals for the Residence Life Coordinator Position. This is a professional position providing administration, supervision, educational programming, and counseling in residence halls or apartment settings. Provides mentoring and leadership to residence life staff and students. Creates an atmosphere conducive to learning and living and accomplishes the goals of the institution, Academic and Student Affairs, and University Housing/Residence Life.

This is a 12-month live-in position with summer duties required. Maintains daily office hours and projects a high degree of visibility and availability to all students and staff members. Performs on-call responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in residence hall management required. A Master’s degree in Student Development or related field is preferred and may be substituted for the experience requirement.

Compensation includes a furnished apartment with utilities, cable TV, internet, phone service w/voice mail, partial meal-plan, and university benefits. Salary is contingent upon qualifications, experience and needs of the university.
