Ms. Crowe’s professional career has included over 25 years of marketing, public relations, and fundraising.  Before joining the Development Office at JSU, she was Vice President and Senior Project Director for J.F. Smith Group Consultants in Fundraising, in Auburn, Alabama.

Her responsibilities included management in capital campaigns, major gifts campaigns, feasibility studies and assessment audits.  Her tenure with the J.F. Smith Group included being the on site Campaign Director for twenty four months in a five-year capital campaign for Jacksonville State University. This project included establishing the development office at JSU, staffing, directing and managing the campaign, identifying, cultivating and soliciting prospects, and establishing policies and procedures to define office infrastructure.

She has been a speaker at various fundraising seminars and conferences with the J.F. Smith Group and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

 

Ms. Crowe was previously the Marketing and Special Projects Director for the Anniston-Calhoun County Joint Powers Authority, which is the non-profit entity responsible for the redevelopment and privatization of the former Ft. McClellan.

 

Ms. Crowe is a 1983 graduate of Jacksonville State University with a degree in Marketing and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. Her other affiliations include being a graduate of Leadership Calhoun County Class of 2004 and graduate of Auburn’s Economic Development Program.
