Dear Faculty & Staff:
The Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will be hosting the Miss Black & Gold Scholarship Pageant on September 17, 2007. Therefore,
we humbly request your presence. The Pageant will take place in the Leone Cole Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.
The Miss Black and Gold Pageant is an event whose primary purpose is to highlight and foster the inextricable connection between success
and etiquette amongst young women. This Pageant spotlights the young women’s poise, self-confidence, communication skills, intelligence,
and beauty. In all, the Miss Black and Gold Pageant encompasses true womanhood, success, and confidence. Academic excellence and scholarship
are greatly stressed in the competition with the Fraternity providing the contestants with scholarships to assist with the financial
obligations associated with post secondary studies.
If your schedule permits, we would be delighted to have you attend to this event. Reserved seating is available. If you have any questions
or concerns, please feel free to contact me via phone at (205) 837-4817 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
